Another case for breakfast time
How’s your day going so far? Have you managed to include breakfast into your daily routine yet? We certainly hope that you had time to sit down with a healthy breakfast and cup of tasty detox tea this morning. Regular readers of our blog will recall that a few weeks ago we wrote an article outlining the importance of you making time for your breakfast. Well in today’s blog we are going to revisit this theme.
One thing we didn’t mention in our last blog was is just how well breakfast sets you up for the day ahead. Did you know that well over 26% of the population now have an office job? It’s also a well-known fact that those who work in an office environment are more likely than most others who work in different sectors to snack throughout the day.
The temptation to snack as you work is a lot more common amongst office workings, and with most snacking options coming from a canteen vending machine, it’s safe to say that snack choices are not always going to be the most healthy ones. It’s in cases like this that you can see the benefits of having breakfast each morning. It isn’t too farfetched to think that eating proper meals can help deter office hours snacking.
So, back to breakfast for a moment. There really is no better way to start your morning than with a cup of detox tea and a nice healthy, balanced breakfast. As you can probably guess from my previous blogs, a favourite of mine is poached eggs on toast, served with avocado. It really will set you up for the day.
